At placeandtime.com, people tell their stories in the form of chronicles. The basic element of a chronicle is the "post". A chronicle may have any number of posts created by any number of members. One person "owns" and controls the each chronicle but many may comment and contribute posts to it. Every post is marked for a specific "place" and "time" and all of these intersect in a searchable database so that you may easily discover stories, photos and authors at places and times that are important to you.
This section shows you all of the Posts that belong to the chronicle shown in the title bar. These are initially arranged by time, oldest first but you may sort them in a variety of other ways. On this page you can "email" or "share" this chronicle with others, rate it, recommend it or reference it in other web communities to which you might belong like Facebook and Myspace. To read the posts, open the first post and click through the others in sequence. You can also "add a post" to the chronicle if the author has enabled the collaborative function.
Check out the other tabs: Pictures shows you only the pictures in the chronicle. In Guest Room you can see everyone who has visited this chronicle and all community comments (note: you may also leave a chronicle comment from this page (for comments to any individual post, go to that post). To send a private "message" to the chronicle author, click on the author name.
To Edit your own Chronicles, access the edit and delete functions from the "Guest Book" tab.
