Place and Time

Mrs. Smith's third grade class in Liverpool NY, asked each student to send a likeness of themselves through the mail to a far away place to visit, learn about that place and to report back to the class.

"This is not as good as a real trip but it was lots of fun, much easier and less expensive" said Alex Gonzalez discussing her creation of "Flat Alex" and the subsequent "visit" with her  Uncle in Laguna Beach, California:
