LuckyDog was adopted from the Tara Foundation. The first entry in his official exam record read "wagging tail, sweet, adorably"-prophetic in that he grew into adulthood charming all he met with his sweet half-black, half-white face and his enthusiastic love of any attention or affection. LuckyDog enjoyed running with me, and we often went for long runs in the hills. He was beloved by all at the dog park, could charm treats out of anyone who had extras, and would outwit any dog for its favorite toy just for the game of it. Sadly, at the age of nine years old and as active and sweet as ever, he began to lose his appetite due to kidney failure. Before he left the hospital to return home for his final day and night, the vet told me that whenever anyone came to check on him, he would raise his head, wag his tail, and completely charm them with his sweet and adorable disposition. anonymous
