Fall is a beautiful time of year in New England. Here at Beech Hill Pond the reds, yellows, oranges and golds of the foliage is breath-taking. In October the pond residents/campers still come for the weekend. It is the perfect season to take long brisk walks, build camp fires, and to congregate with friends and family before the ice freezes and the snowfalls blanket the lake. There is plenty of work to be done before it gets too cold including but not limited to taking in the water, pulling in the wharves and boats, and cleaning out the refrigerator.
