Place and Time

These pictures of my father were taken at an unknown (to me) WW II boot camp. Both he and my Mom have passed away and I am trying to reconstruct their place-and-time lines. Does anyone have a list of boot camps in the South East - I was told about it once and I think I will remember if I can review a list of them. Better yet, it would be something if anyone could identify the other men in the picture. My father obviously survived the war and I would hope the same for these men that befriended him.
