A Golden Eagle at Aliso Beach
- This Eagle displayed no fear of me at all as I moved within about four feet of it. It was totally focused on a mouse that it had spotted and was trying to find again. I learned a few days later that the San Diego Wild Animal Park had released a bunch of Golden Eagles a few days earlier. This explained why this "wild" animal was so comfortable with my presence. I saw it again the next day and then never again.
