Place and Time

A tiny hummingbird made a nest on a palm tree in my backyard. This was the first time in my life that I saw hummingbird actually sitting, not humming around. She's been in the nest for 2 days. I hope to see the little chicks soon - I wonder how tiny they are, but... on Sunday I found the nest is empty and partially destroyed. I suspect some mouse did it. I wish I build some protection for a little bird. Hope she will come again next time.
