Place and Time

These are the children of Anna Galasso, clockwise  from top left: Nancy, Anthony,  (Anna herself), Louise, Louis, August, Emil, Martha (my mother) amd Jenny  (my godmother). 

I believe this was taken sometime during the 1940s.  I am guessing post WWII because otherwise one or another of the boys would have been in uniform. If anyone knows the date, please let me know.

This picture shows, I believe a New Year's Eve celebration, again at some unknown year but I can guess it is the early 40's - perhaps during the war.  Starting at the lower left and going around the table in the foreground: Martha (my mother), unknown lady, Michael (my father), Aunt Nancy with her arm around my dad, Jenny and husband Capt. Robert Flowers (USAF), Louise and her husband Roy Saporito, a chemist and former basketball player at St. Bonaventure University.

This is Anna Galasso my grandmother with her eldest daughter Nancy.  I am not sure which birthday this was but this picture was probably from the late 50's.
