Place and Time

After the initial elation faded away and the reality of getting down to wedding planning sank in, we realized our first step was to plan a date. My brother's concern was the same as mine. We both wanted our dad looking and feeling healthy at our ceremonies. So our weddings had to be timed around his chemotherapy schedule. He was on his 3rd round of chemo during this time. Also, we both wanted to have our ceremonies ASAP so that it was more likely he'd even be around period.
 
My brother chose September 15, and we chose October 20. And now the race would begin--for both of us to plan weddings in the short time span of 3-4 months.
