Back in Norway, while my great Scandinavian ancestor Ole Chrisitiansen Bjorge and his wife were busy having five children, their friends Iver and Karen Larson were busy having eight! The Larsons were married in 1860 and rented a portion of the Bjorge house in which to raise their family. Their first daughter was a beautiful young girl named Olga. Ole’s son Christian became her childhood playmate and as they grew older they began to pine for one another.
