Place and Time

Back in Norway, the two young Scandinavian housemates of my great-great-great-grandfather Ole Bjorge’s estate, Olga Martine Larsen and Christian Olsen Bjorge soon grew up and were married on Jan. 5, 1883 in Skoger, Norway. Either Olga was already pregnant at the time of the marriage or conception occurred almost immediately afterwards as my Great-Grandfather Ole Christiansen Bjorge (not to be confused with his grandfather bearing the same name) was born just eight and one half months later.
