In Dublin we really only had time and money to go into one of the cathedrals, and we chose the Christ Church Cathedral.  Here are three pictures of the outside of it.  To me it looks much more like a militarial fortress or castle than actual cathedral.  But the inside was much more religious and even had catacombs beneath it.

On the left is the view when you first enter the church.  The whole church was kept fairly dark, and there was not truly any modern lights set up to bring more light to the dark atmosphere.

In the middle I focused on just the roof, which was quite elaborate and resembles much more famous and larger cathedrals.

To the right is me standing in front of the main alter.

Below the church was a pretty elaborate set of catacombs, where the remains of many past rich and famous lay.  Here is a picture of what most of the underground looked like, along with one of the more modest grave markers.  Also they had on display some of the churches treasures, which contained some gold plates, platters and utensils which had once belonged to the English Royal Family.  Many of their treasures were also gifts and looked priceless.  Also on the far right I included a picture of a plaque in the church which contained the seal of the city of Dublin.

In the catacombs was also a very strange display.  It had the body of a cat chasing a mouse.  Supposedly they had got stuck in the organ pipes, in the pictured pose, and had actually been preserved as legend goes.  They appear mummified in the chase.  Also to the right is me and my friend in one of the 'torture' devices we found lying around the catacombs.
